In short
- Doctors use the mobile app; staff run the group from the web portal.
- The group sets the policy, and each doctor keeps their own fees and preferences inside it.
- Handover moves work between staff, and reporting works for the group and for each doctor.
One environment for the group
Anaemate Groups gives the group its own environment, with the mobile app for doctors and the web portal for staff. Providers, users and permissions are managed centrally, so adding a doctor is a matter of setting them up.
Group policy, each doctor’s preferences
The group decides how accounts are handled: payment terms, what patients are told, and how follow-up works. Groups can set separate payment terms for insurance-declined and top-up invoices, and the right due date flows through to the invoice and the patient’s message.
Inside that, each doctor keeps their own billing rules, applied to their lists or to single cases, along with their own banking details, pre-op questionnaire and instructions, and post-op survey preferences.
Work that moves between staff
Doctors hand cases over to the group’s staff from the app, with a note, and staff can send a case back for the doctor’s review. The Follow Up workspace lists every account across the group that needs attention, and activity is logged with the user, date and time, so anyone can see what happened to an account.
Patient messages can go out under the group’s own SMS sender name and phone number, with the group’s own inboxes for administration, support and refunds, and the patient portal can carry the group’s own header, font and colours.
The whole group, on one screen
The web portal shows totals for the whole group over any period, every encounter across every doctor filtered by status, billing, payment or handover, and every doctor’s lists and sessions in one calendar.
Where the money lands
Groups can be set up with dedicated group bank accounts or with a per-doctor setup, depending on how the group distributes income. Anaemate Groups is a fixed fee per doctor, per month, ex GST, quoted after a conversation about the group.
